I offer several weekly classes at the Tidal Art Centre from beginner wheel throwing to advanced classes in throwing and studio fundamentals.

My teaching style balances demonstration with hands-on practice, while encouraging students to explore the material and develop their own creative voice

Beginner Wheel Throwing

Come and try the fun and messy art of wheel thrown pottery! This introductory course covers clay preparation, basic throwing techniques, trimming, and glazing. Perfect for beginners or people that have taken a class but want more practice to bring their skills to a higher level.

 Level 2 Wheel Throwing

This class is perfect for folks that have taken the beginner wheel throwing level 1 or have some previous throwing experience.

This class will dive into making matching sets, lidded pots and large vessels.

Private Classes

Private classes are a great way to gain momentum fast, especially if you are looking for help with specific techniques or need flexibility in your scheduling.

Private classes can be held at the Tidal Art Centre or your own studio or community space.

The Tidal Art Centre also offers hand-building classes, and classes in other mediums.
