I am a ceramic artist and creative educator based in the beautiful qathet region of British Columbia.

A graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (2010), I have cultivated a practice rooted in material exploration, environmental reverence, and a deep commitment to daily creativity.

Working primarily with Canadian stoneware, I enjoy exploring both functional and sculptural ceramics. My practice is fundamentally driven by a deep desire to remain in a sustained state of creative flow. Work flows from work as I follow ideas for as long as they will come. My studio practice offers space for quiet stillness, attentiveness, connection and reflection. Each piece offers a dialogue between form, surface and landscape - providing an invitation to pause and engage more deeply with the present.

The rugged natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest profoundly influences my work. I pull colours from ephemeral skylines and tidal pools, textures from vertical sea cliffs and rocky coastlines. With nature as my muse, I seek to honour the inextricable links between ecological integrity, and collective well-being.

In addition to my ceramic studio practice, I am an avid horseback rider, gardener, dancer, and daydreamer

Ten times a day something happens to me like this - some strengthening throb of amazement - some good sweet empathic ping and swell. This is the first, the wildest and the wisest thing I know: that the soul exists and is built entirely out of attentiveness.
